in todays news from australia it appears that, despite his previous declination to appear when invited, justice mcclellan from the australian royal commission on child sex abuse will officially summon brother geoffrey jackson to the stand after all.. ..... the commission was due to conclude its hearings into the jehovahs witnesses on wednesday but justice mcclellan said he will now call geoffrey jackson, a senior member of the churchs governing body in new york who is currently in australia, to appear next week.. .

This ought to put some starch in the shorts of every GB member. Up till now they have been pretty untouchable as far as going to court and give testimony for their bad behavior. I'm sure we might see some changes in the Organization once these policy makers start getting hauled off to court, I'm thinking there might be enough evidence by these commission hearings to latter bring criminal charges in the other courts and perhaps even here in the USA home of the Governing Body.

I'm sure no matter how deluded these GBs might be they are shitting their pants right now as they see the laws are finally catching up with them and their cruel male chuavanistic asses.

twice this past week, they have had the cart set up at the end of the kh property on the main road.

the two people with it were sitting about 100 feet back, in the shade of a tree.

I Made the Literature Trolley Run Away Today - Twice

i popped into town this morning to buy an anniversary card for mrs cofty.

it is market day on a saturday and it's tourist season so the town was very busy.

here is a picture of the scene from a year ago... two cult carts were in their favourite place being guarded by none other than one of the elders who was on my judicial committee, his wife and another jw woman in her electric disability buggy.

OMG you had them running they acted as if you were Satan in the flesh. Cart witnessing to the JW's it is almost like you got a captive audience unless they decide to run away with their fingers in their ears.

I was thinking maybe have about 2 or 3 people go to where they are cart witlessing seperately with the same subject and then meeting them as a group and talk about the same point (like the commissions public inquiry into child abuse inside the Australian congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses I'm sure GB Jackson testimony should be made known to every JW whether they want to hear it or not).

i think the governing body is so delusional to give these monthly broad cast i'm mean it is totally a show of their complete ignorance to keep broad casting their ugly mugs to the world uttering utter nonsense to be used against them in a court of law.

they can't think above the mentality of a brain dead devotee, they think they are giving a good witness in what ever they speak which indicates a severe denial and compartmentalization going on in their psyche so that they have no knowledge of when they are out right lying.

I think the Royal Commission is taking time to read it's emails that they have receive I'm sure they will take the time to read the documents more to find out why this submission is so important to keep confidential and what type of question they are going to put before GB Jackson to make sure they can get all the goods on him that they can.

I'm sure your Honor and Stewart are very happy over recent events popping up so providentially to make a good case.

All this new information that many have sent needs to be examined to make a good future cases against them where all the damming evidence is made available by this public inquiry.

Angus Stewart calls the JW religion a captive organization

if you watched the questioning of terrence o'brien by angus stewart at day 7 part 3 on youtube--thanks so much for uploading these videos--you'll see that mr. stewart puts quite clearly to brother o'brien that the jw 0rganization is a "captive organization".. he makes this reference regarding the practice of da/df'ing and shunning, which he mentions is the one thing that makes ex-jw's the most angry.

because insisting on shunning ex-members causes psychological trauma and separates people from their family, friends and their community of support; therefore, they are held captive by the organization if they don't want to lose those most dear to them.. i believe angus stewart is to be commended for seeing clearly what the wt/jw religion is truly like in practice, and it isn't pretty.. the term "captive organization" is usually used in finance to mean a business front, a legal veil that shields the parent company from liability and having to make big insurance payouts.

for example if the australian branch gets sued and loses, the "wt australia" corporation will pay the amount awarded by the judge to the complainant.

I think Stewart's words will start lawsuits coming in against them for the cruelty documented here to help a lot of cases win because this commission exposes it so well. Lawyers will be hot to trot in the near future.

The way things are going with the Royal Commission and the cruelty of shunning being exposed I think they might have a very good case against the Organization this time around as soon as the climate is favorable I'm sure they can get something for damages and forced retraction printed in the Watchtower magazine and their website to the worldwide web.

I'm sure this is opening up a can of worms as to this cruel practice and the legal liablilities that may come a knocking at their door.

hello again.. splash had a pile of scriptural evidence which he uploaded and it was good material.

it established the gb as the fds and used watchtower study articles.........i don't know if he was the only one but the material flew in the face of what those men have been saying.

it proves, using their own material how they indeed think they are the ones with the direct control over millions of lives, because as you know.........they are the direct hot line to god.

I say offer any Governing Body who has evidence to convict this cult of it's crimes against humanity immunity from prosecution and put under a "witness" protection plan.

Something this commission won't do but the federal government USA might want to think about and offer if thing heat up in the USA about these abuse issues.
